I was excited we found deer, sheep (and lambs) and a solitary buffalo along our travels. There were also a lot of scenic rocks. I thought it was nice since it was a good change from the city environments we’ve seen so much of lately, and Travis enjoyed it because it “exceeded his expectations.” In other words, he was expecting nothing and the Badlands National Park was decent. Also it was a really nice day — the rocks were red and white stripes, there were yellow wildflowers everywhere and the sky was blue with puffy white clouds.
We also drove by Mount Rushmore — we were a little annoyed that our National Parks pass did not grant us free parking, so instead of parking inside their giant parking lot we drove around the memorial and took pictures from the road instead.
your buffalo looks shy
Give Buffalo lots of room, they can be cranky.
Have you had much experience with the cranky buffalo?
We got into more than one Buffalo Traffic Jams in Yellowstone with our RV.
Take me there, I wanna go there!
