This was the shortest of side trips. We were visiting family Northwest of Las Vegas. The clouds looked decent, so we decided to explore for sunset. It’s been awhile since we visited Death Valley Valley National Park, and by “awhile” I mean nearly 9 years. The last (and only) time we visited Death Valley was in April of 2009, during the first couple weeks of our four month road trip around the United States.
